Adoption Fundraiser
Our Fundraiser
If you see anything you like below just email me at twougaalums *at* bellsouth *dot* net {make sure you include the listing number} and I will send you a PayPal invoice (this way you can either pay by check or credit card), or if you’re local you can arrange for pick-up and not have to pay shipping. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy, right?
And don’t forget, all proceeds go right straight into our adoption fund and every penny goes toward bringing our next child into our family!
Items updated as fast as I can sew ‘em!
Pot Holders
All pot holders are paper pieced string blocks and lovingly created by me. There is Inslu-Bright in the center that is awesome at reflecting heat and the back is flannel. There is even a little fabric “hook” for hanging. The fabrics come from my “stash” and are a mixture of my favorite designers–you may even recognize some of them from my old projects. No two are exactly alike. And I promise–they really work at keeping your hands from getting burned!
Potholders are $12 each or $20 for two.
Potholder #2: “Spring Has Sprung”
Coasters
I have a set of fabric coasters and I absolutely love them. They’re thick so the table doesn’t get wet and they’re soft enough to not scratch {like those tile ones I see everywhere}. These are paper pieced just like the pot holders in a beautiful string quilt design. Each one is different, but I made the four in each set cohesive. There is a thick batting inside for keeping water off your table and the back is soft flannel.
Coasters are four for $16.
Coaster Set #1: “Garden Party”
Coaster Set #2: “So Fresh and So Clean”
I don’t know why this picture came out blurry; I’ll take another one.
Coaster Set #3: “Sassy and Confident”
Drying Mats
I saw these on Darby’s blog last year and rushed to make them for all of my close family and friends. They agree that it is one of their most used items in the kitchen. It’s great when you’re trying to dry dishes {especially those pesky pots and pans} fresh out of the sink or letting the ones from the dishwasher air dry just a little bit longer. As soon as I started thinking about adoption fundraising I just knew I had to make these {yes, you’ll love it that much} so I emailed her and she gave me permission to use her pattern {thanks, girlie}.
They measure around 22″ x 27″ and include some of my very favorite fabrics from my favorite fabric shop in Decatur. The back is a coordinating terry cloth or chenille for extra moisture absorbency.
As you can see, our drying mat {though upside-down, haha} gets *lots* of use with sippy cups.
Each dish drying mat is $25.
Dish Mat #1: “Retro Red, White, and Blue”
{More dish mats coming in the next week in lots of fun fabrics…just have to quilt ‘em!}
Also available!
~Bread & Butter Pickles: $5 per pint
