For Once, *No* Pictures of MM

This evening I had the privilege of taking pictures of someone else’s child which is a rare event for my camera.  I’m so used to my one little subject that I often forget how fun it is to take pictures of other people’s children.  And what a sweet child he was–an adorable 4 1/2 year old little boy so different–yet so alike–my own daughter.  He’d look at the camera, make funny faces, and then take off running.  To get a still shot was hard, but so worth it.  He is such a cutie pie.

I just had to share a couple of photos from our walk around my little downtown tonight–he is too precious not to.

I learned a few things tonight.  Four year olds love to be silly.  Four year olds love to look at the pictures you just took of them on the camera screen and smile at their own cuteness.  And four year olds love a nice refreshing glass of strawberry-banana juice after getting their photo shoot is finished.  All good things to know for my not-so-little little girl who I’m sure will be four before I know it.
