You know that little owl apron I was talking about on Sunday? Well, here’s a sneak peek.
Both Roxie the Pug {see her on the left?} and MM are very interested in my latest creation.
And yes, I know I said it’s her Christmas present and it still is. It’s one of the {many} perks of having a 19-month old–she’ll forget about it by tomorrow and it will be a surprise again by Christmas morning. hehe.
I’ll post a picture of her wearing it when I get the neck strap finished. I’m really happy with how it’s turning out so far. What do you think?
And because I can’t leave you with just one picture, here’s a few from the past couple of days.
Can you believe how big she’s gotten? She now wears Sauconys and Silly Bandz. I love this picture and it breaks my heart all at the same time. It’s hard watching your baby grow up.
Part of the homemade bruschetta I made for yesterday’s lunch–I love the colors of the tomatoes from our garden {and they were still warm from the sun when I diced them}.
This is her new favorite place to hang out while I cook…sitting in the refrigerator. Which is difficult since our kitchen is so teeny tiny that I need all the room I can get. But I have to admit, it IS a cool place to sit on these hot summer days that feel like they’re never going to end!

I love the content of your blog! It’s so relaxing and makes me feel like I want to curl up with a good book, my favorite sweater, or just to bake something yummy! Thanks for the good wishes lately as well
Um I freaking LOVE that apron. I would order two in adult sizes if you felt like sewing more (*HINT*HINT*NAME*YOUR*PRICE!) Would be a perfect apron for my mother-in-law that LOVES owls and of course I would love to wear one myself, SO cute!
