I made Mary Margaret the “Pretty-as-a-Picture” dress this week. It came from Anna Maria Horner’s book, Handmade Beginnings. Because I liked the picture shown in the book so much I used Anna Maria’s fabrics too. {And I love the super soft-thin fabrics of her’s…oh.my.lord!}

I love how the dress turned out and I can tell it’s going to fit her next summer too. That’s always a good feeling when you put so much time into something…I’d hate to be a one-season number for her.

And this evening as I took her out to the garden and barns to take pictures of her it started thundering. We haven’t had a drop of rain in a week and a half, but that’s just my luck. So I quickly snapped pictures in five minutes and this is what I got.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pictures of her with her doll, Sunny. I made Sunny a matching halter dress in the pink fabric and MM thinks it’s the bees’ knees. And this little cutie? Well, she’s my bees’ knees.
