…by the crafting bug. AGAIN.
You’d think I’d be happy working on my bonnet pattern for Miss MM. It’s part pattern/part experience/part luck and it’s coming along nicely. I’m going to try to post a tutorial next week.
And speaking of tutorials, I made Mary Margaret a dress out of a skirt I found at Goodwill a couple of weeks ago. It’s been so cold that I haven’t been able to actually make pictures of her in the dress yet. But no worries, she’s wearing it tomorrow and I’ll post the tutorial tomorrow night. So easy and cheap to make.
I’ve also figured out the quilt I want to make this summer. It’s called The Doll Dresses Quilt and I’m in love. Can’t you just see it on her toddler bed?
I’m going to drag Mother and MM down to Intown Quilters over Spring Break to take a closer look and probably purchase the kit (how fabulous that it comes in a kit!). I love how it’s girly, and vintage-looking, and has lots of blue–it would be absolutely perfect in her room.
So…any of you out there starting new projects?
