My baby turned six months old today. Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday…
My, she has grown in the last six months. I don’t even recogonize that newborn photo anymore.
Today was a great day. MM woke up after sleeping thirteen hours in the very best of moods.
We played and ate breakfast then it was time for a nap. After she awoke we put on her “party dress” and went to lunch at her my favorite restaurant with some family.
We then went to the fabric store, Babies R Us where she got her own Cookie Monster doll, and then to my parents’ house. She got to eat gnaw her first bagel at their house.
Later for dinner she tasted meat for the first time. She had a beef (shoulder) pot roast with sweet potatoes and carrots and loved it.
All in all, a really good half birthday for her (and it totally made me start thinking about her first birthday party…in fact, I’ve planned 75% of it already!). I can’t believe how fast these months have gone. It feels like just yesterday I was in the hospital staring at her beautiful face and being amazed at how lucky I was. And I feel even more so today as I get to know her better and better and love her more and more.

She is getting soooo big! I love, love, love the Lola doll. Those are some of my favorite books!
mine too! and mm LOVES them–she likes looking at the patterns on each page. i saw the lola doll in a little toy shop and just had to get it for her (it giggles too!). mm loves holding it while we read charlie + lola books.
Too cute! Can’t believe you’ve already started planning her 1st birthday, but I can relate. I’ll be doing the same thing…I’ll be planning the birthday party shortly after she/he is born! Ha-Ha!
we cannot believe how fast she is growing! Enjoy every day with her and treasure every moment. Before you know it she will be a Mommy and have a precious little girl to love also. We love her so much…just can’t find the words to tell you how much!

Merci ! She is growing by leaps and bounds. As you well know by now, Natalie, time goes by in a hurry so treasure these baby days of hers even more so. “It won’t be like this for long !” (that is title of one of my favorite songs !)
It’s amazing when you look at her baby picture and now! It really doesn’t look like the same baby!
I really think I love her more and more everyday!
Jenna, I love reading your postings about this little Princess ! Just you wait a few months and you will love her even more when she is walking, talking and carrying on conversations w/you! It is so sweet that you love her as you do ! Babies can just sneak into our hearts and find a warm/loving place so quickly. She loves having “center-stage”…you ca tell that ! love ya, aunt margaret
