I love these pictures. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. MM looks like she just stepped off the farm in the early 1900s. Her little dress and bonnet made from antique linens, her little 90-year old chair that her namesake left her in the basement, and her barefeet touching the dirt like she lives in a house with a swept yard (a southern thing).
My heart melts. These pictures are such a treasure to me. They remind me of family pictures I have of babies in highchairs and rockers in their own swept yards 70, 80, or 100 years ago and I feel like I could put MM’s pictures amongst these and no one would be able to tell if they were new or old. And you know how much I love my old things.
And I owe it all to Karen–a photographer and a friend. You may remember her when she came last October to do my maternity photos. She took these the Saturday after MM’s six month birthday and I couldn’t be more pleased. Go here to check out the rest of the sneak peeks.
Thank you, Karen! These are all I hoped for and more!

They are TOO cute! Karen does a great job! I’m in need of a photographer for all of our family photo needs, so I’ll have to check into her!
OML ! Those pictures are absolutely precious. The sweet dress and bonnet are real treasures. Love how she crossed those little legs
to show off how cute they are. C will have to keep a stick handy when she is older to keep those boys away from her. These
pictures are sooooo precious…omG…
